Where luxury property and contemporary art meet, creating a multi-sensory experience that invites clients and collectors to experience this home as a living, breathing work of art.
Following the success of his summer debut at Kelli Lundberg Art, landscape designer and artist Colin Hyett returns with My Biosphere Encore: Brighton - a bold continuation of his vibrant, abstract explorations of nature.
Presented within the Etienne Penthouse, this exhibition redefines the traditional gallery model by merging contemporary art with luxury interior design. Curated by The Studio & Co. Advisory Team - Kelli Lundberg, Colin Hyett, and Leisa Wharington - the experience is immersive, elegant, and deeply sensory.
Hyett’s vivid desert-inspired canvases are brought to life with a candy-coloured palette and dynamic layering, evoking the spontaneity of ecosystems in motion. Paired with Wharington’s luminous handblown glass and enveloped in a living green backdrop by Colin Hyett Design, each room becomes a living, breathing work of art.
This six-week showcase invites collectors and design lovers alike to consider how art transforms the spaces we inhabit - and how, in turn, those spaces can awaken a deeper connection to the natural world.

Drawing on over 20 years of design practice and a Fine Arts (Hons) degree from Monash University, his distinctive aesthetic - described as “Palm Springs meets Mornington Peninsula” - combines mid-century structure with wild, drought-tolerant planting. His My Biosphere painting series captures Australia’s desert energy through neon colour and mixed media, echoing the layered richness of natural ecosystems.
Leisa Wharington | Bespoke Glass & Lighting Design
Leisa Wharington is a renowned glassblower based on Victoria’s Mornington Peninsula. After attaining an arts degree in ceramic design, Leisa spent an early chapter of her career overseas. In the 80's, she studied at Seattle’s Pilchuck Glass School –the international home of studio glassblowing. Leisa returned in the early 2000's to undertake a residency focusing on technical experimentation with lathes, grinding methodologies and polishing practices. This speculative, play-based approach has become a constant pillar of Leisa’s work, lending to the creation of covetable pieces that exude a sense of whimsical refinement.
Leisa is committed to creating unique and timeless pieces using traditional glass-blowing techniques. Each piece is handmade at The Studio & Co. on the Mornington Peninsula. Leisa's approach is deeply personal. She works closely with clients to craft everything from the perfect-coloured lamp to large bespoke installations for some of Australia's finest restaurants and bars - each piece designed to reflect her client's unique character and needs.
